Notre premier retour \u00e0 Kinkora apr\u00e8s la pand\u00e9mie a \u00e9t\u00e9 un grand succ\u00e8s! Cette ann\u00e9e, le camp de leadership, qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 adapt\u00e9 pour suivre toutes les r\u00e9glementations sanitaires, s’est d\u00e9roul\u00e9 sur trois jours et a accueilli une s\u00e9rie d’\u00e9v\u00e9nements et d’activit\u00e9s. Les jeunes ont particip\u00e9 \u00e0 un spectacle de talents, \u00e0 des activit\u00e9s de plein air, \u00e0 une soir\u00e9e karaok\u00e9 et ont m\u00eame vu un arc-en-ciel double!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
De plus, gr\u00e2ce au soutien de POP Montr\u00e9al, les jeunes et le personnel de LOVE ont \u00e9t\u00e9 invit\u00e9s \u00e0 participer \u00e0 un atelier artistique sp\u00e9cial dirig\u00e9 par Megan Kanerahtenha:wi Whyte (Elle), qui est une artiste, une \u00e9ducatrice en art et une art-th\u00e9rapeute de la Premi\u00e8re Nation Kanien’keh\u00e1:ka, et Dayna Danger (Iel), qui est une artiste visuelle m\u00e9tisse\/saulteaux\/polonaise bispirituelle\/Queer qui vit actuellement \u00e0 Tio’tia:ke. L’\u0153uvre d’art, qui sera pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e au prochain festival POP Montr\u00e9al, repr\u00e9sente la relation entre l’humanit\u00e9 et la nature et le besoin de compassion envers la nature, soi-m\u00eame et les autres. Elle a anim\u00e9 un atelier fantastique et a engag\u00e9 nos jeunes dans une activit\u00e9 artistique intentionnelle.
Notre retour au camp apr\u00e8s deux ans nous a permis de voir les visages des jeunes s’illuminer d’excitation qui nous a tant manqu\u00e9. Le camp de leadership nous rappelle l’impact des \u00e9v\u00e9nements comme celui-ci, qui rassemblent tout le monde dans un environnement s\u00fbr, compr\u00e9hensif et unificateur.
